My mother Mary V. Stewart gave up a baby boy in LaCrosse WI at a convent in May 1949. She had two Children by first husband and he was killed. Leonard & Katherine Stewart‚ both deceased. She remarried in 1950 to my father Albert Schwartz and had three more children. I am the youngest and was born in 1954 I have a brother Gordon and a Sister Linda. Since I lost my oldest brother Len I don’t remember the exact date of birth. He tried finding records but they said they didn’t have any because the Catholic home had burned down and they weren’t required to get county or state birth certificates. My brother stayed with my mother at the orphanage until after she had the baby boy. She resumed living in Bloomer WI afterward.
