Hi my white South African (Cape Town) mum Patricia Farrier (née Mavis Bernadette Farrier father Albert) had a daughter called Claudia in about 1950 from her first marriage as an 18 year old to Claud Isgar Davies. They divorced and she gave up her daughter for adoption (believed to be to Cape Town university faculty staff where she was a student). She emigrated to the UK in about 1955 to escape the police State’s persecution of her anti apartheid activism. She met my father in Britain and they had 4 children.
