I am trying to find a cousin that was adopted out at birth. Most likely born between January - July 1967. A Little girl born at St Annes Maternity hospital‚ Western Australia. Her Father John Peter Cuming (my uncle and my mother’s half-brother) was tragically killed in a car accident 3rd May 1967. He was 18 years of age. Her mother was of a similar age if not slightly younger. If it weren’t for the accident my mother suspects there would not have been an adoption‚ but her mother was extremely young. We think her name might have been Judy Bennet (or something like this) possibly from Redcliffe - though my mother’s memory isn’t completely sure of this. My maternal grandmother desperately wanted to adopt her‚ but the nuns at the hospital wouldn’t allow it. I have been slightly obsessed with finding this long-lost cousin for years as I am of a similar age. I have been registered through jigsaw for several years. I would be so thrilled to find her.
