I am your birth uncle and had a relationship with you before your adoption when you were around 2–3 years old. You were under the care of Leeds Social Services and living with foster carers before being adopted. Sadly‚ all contact with you was completely cut off following the court proceedings and adoption‚ and I have not seen or spoken to you since. I have thought about you everyday over the years and would simply like you to know that you have birth family members who remember you and care about you. I fully respect whatever decision you make regarding contact and do not wish to place any pressure on you. If you would ever like to know more about your early life‚ your birth family‚ or reconnect‚ I would be very happy to hear from you.
