My mother was adopted at birth. We’ve met her birth mother Ann‚ but we have very little information on her father Peter Carney. He was born in Kiltimaugh‚ County Mayo In or around 1935. He was working in or around the Old Trafford area of Manchester during 1961/1962 and he stayed in Manchester for a while but disappeared after her birth mother got married. Peter is aware of my mother’s exsistence and I he asked Ann at least once where she was.
