It’s taken me a long time and a lot of thinking for me to decide to trace my birth mother. I know at the time of my birth my mother’s name was Elsie Eastwood. I was given the name Deborah Rose Eastwood. The adoption order shows that my birth was originally registered with entry number 399 in the registration district of Buckrose and the sub-district of Norton in the County of Yorkshire (east Riding) The adoption was arranged by the York Adoption Society. My adoption order is dated 18th December 1958 in the County Borough of Halifax My adoptive parents were Mark & Doreen Priestley of Halifax
