I was adopted in 1986, only a few days after I was born. I’ve been told my birth mother was a college student who kept her pregnancy secret until her roommate discovered her in labor in her dorm room. She and my biological father were in a band together in college. I believe his name is Robert Gray, although that could be incorrect. My birth mother wished to maintain some form of contact, writing letters I believe, but my adoptive mother did not allow it via the agency. I believe the agency to have been Methodist-affiliated. I believe my birth mother’s first name to be Margaret.
