My name is Jeff Roach. I am looking for a brother who was adopted from Point Pleasant, WV in 1955. My mother was 21 years old at the time of his birth. He is by full brother. Her husband at the time first told her he would raise the child as his own, but when he was born told her she would never see her two daughters again unless she gave him up. This would have been as very conflicting time for a 21 year old woman in the 1950’s. We have heard, but do not know for sure that a doctor adopted him. His birth record is on file at our court house as David Alan, born 10-18-1955. If there is an adoption it is sealed and cannot be obtained. Dr. Malony MD delivered the child and we were also told he knew someone who wanted the baby. Please help me find my brother.
