My dad was born and given up for adoption in the 60s in west virginia. Unfortunately WV is a restricted state so he doesnt even gave his own original birth certificate. He doesnt know his birth name or the name given in the foster system‚ just his name from his adoptive parents. He was able to reconnect with his birth mother’s family through some lucky coincidence many years ago‚ but they wouldn't tell him too much‚ and his birth mother had already passed away years prior. He doesnt know his birth father‚ and along with his birth mother passing away‚ since then his maternal grandparents and 2/3 of his birth mother’s siblings have passed on. Id like to be able to find as much info for him and for myself‚ along with important health/death info since i have a lot of severe health issues/chronic disabilities with no known cause. I hope to maybe someday find out the name of my paternal grandfather and reconnect with family ive never gotten the privilege of knowing.
