I am looking for my mother's biological family. She was told that she was born in Phoenix AZ to a couple of Irish decent. A priest (Fr. Dunne‚ SJ) arranged an adoption for their daughter with his sister and her husband who lived in Los Angeles CA. My mother was not aware that she was adopted until her 30s and the circumstances of her birth parents may not have been accurately transmitted to her. From my own research Fr. Dunne was living in L.A. in that year‚ so I am not sure how/if he fits into the story. If any of this sounds familiar‚ please reach out. I recently received my DNA results on Ancestry and see that my mother has a lot of relatives in OH/WV. I am now wondering if her mother came out west to have her baby.
