I just found out that My grandmother who raised me had a family before she met My pawpaw …. Her second husband was my pawpaw and they had two sons and I was the first granddaughter and she took me in and loved me like a daughter. I watched her through the years struggle with severe anxiety and nervousness not knowing why‚ and it all Makes sense now after doing some research on ancestry.com I found that she had a first husband and doing some investigation I also found a letter that was attached to one of my leafs‚ and it stated that she had a family back when she was only 16yrs old with an abusive man who when he found out that she was going to turn him in for abuse‚ he convinced the authorities that she was the bad person and in those days women didn’t have any say so‚ so she had to leave without her babies‚ two little girls… She had no one where they lived so she went back home to WV and he apparently got incarcerated and the state took the children and adopted them out. I don’t know the years of their births but it had to be sometime between 1948 and 1959 and their names are Pamela Pauline Way and Emma Jean Way. My name is June Marie Bishop Owens and I am the granddaughter of June Lavon Gillespie Way‚ Bishop who is now deceased since March 2012….. I have found the stepdaughters of June’s First husband and they are helping me to find my great aunts and any help would be greatly appreciated. Contact me, thank you.
