I was born at Fairmont hospital in February of 1993. The adoption was known to be taking place before I was born. I had a lot of neurological issues at birth being born with fetal alcohol syndrome and a stimulant dependence. The court proceedings began immediately and were finalized within the first few years of my life. I had thought since finding out about the adoption that I had the name of both biological parents‚ but after doing an AncestryDNA I found out that my paternal side was not the last name Parrish I had believed before.
