Hi my name is Claire White (adopted Maiden name Sheldon) my adopted parents John & Maureen Sheldon are on my birth certificate with my birth date showing as 16/11/1970 but I don’t know if this information is accurate as they hid the adoption from me all of my life and now I can’t ask either of them as they’ve both passed away. I am showing on my Birth Certificate as been born in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham‚ West Midlands‚ England but again I don’t know if this information is accurate as I was never told I was adopted. I’ve only found out very recently through an adopted family member which has since been backed up by further adopted family members & also friends. I’ve had an interesting life with lots of adventures but need to understand what my beginnings truly were and who my Birth mother was/is. I’m a very young 51 with 4 children and a very open mind and am upbeat about the potential of finding my birth mother however far away she lives.
