I was born in Calcutta (Kolkata) in India. I was found in front of hospital‚ but maybe my mother gave birth and left me there for adoption. I don’t know the exact hospital‚ I was born in‚ it was a Government Hospital. I was in need of medical support as I was underweight (1750g at the age of 3 monts). For one month I was in the "Park Children Center" (4‚ Victoria Terrace‚ Calcutta 700-017). As "Baby Soni" I was named in the adoption papers of "Terre des Hommes India Society"‚ the organisation with which managed my first 15 months and organised my flight to Geneva in Switzerland. I grew up near Bern‚ the city in which I still live today.
