My birth name is Brian Lee Tjeerdsma‚ my mom married my step-father in about 1965‚ and my paternal father died in 1970. Supposedly‚ my step-father adopted us 6 children after my father’s death. We suspect the adoption was not legit‚ and I am trying to get my birth certificate fixed since for various reasons. In order to get a court order‚ I need to find if there was an adooption by my step-father. His name was Robert Auther Storms. My mom’s name is Judith Mae Shope (maiden)‚ and we lived on Whidbey Island and Skagit Valley areas. We moved to Utah in 1972-73. I was born in Ogden‚ Utah in 1957‚ and lived in Washington until 1973. I need to find any adoption papers stating my step-father actual legally adopted us children after my father’s death. Thanks
