We have been told that the birth mother was around 15 years old and gave birth most likely in Corvallis, Oregon to my mother born on September 28, 1943. We were told that the meeting place for the adoption possibly took place in Port Angeles, Washington. The adoptive mother’s name was Rita Rae. Not sure if official adoptive papers were done in Washington or Oregon.
