My mother was adopted to my grandparents in 1957 when my mother was approximately 2-3 months old. She was adopted through a catholic agency, my grandparents did not give my mother many details beyond that. My mother was told that her name at the orphanage was "Trisha" but was promptly changed once the adoption was completed. My mother grew up on Mercer Island, WA but my grandparents were living in Medina, WA at the time of the adoption.
