My birth mother was Carol Hanika and my birth father was James Smith. Both lived in Oregon. My father was a marine in Vietnam. He died about 15-20 years ago from lung cancer. I know he had children and was married. My mother had 2 boys and was divorced. I would love to connect with any siblings or relatives. I know my mother was unwilling to let her boys know I existed. I’m not sure if she is still alive or not. The last time I received a letter from her was more than 20 years ago. We lost contact and I have not been able to reach her since I moved.
