I am an adoptee. Bi-racial. Told that my Mother is white and my father light complexion African American. I was born in WA State in 1968. I was a ward of the State of Washington from 2 days old until I was adopted in 10/1969. I was told that my biological mother put off signing the adoption papers as long as she could. I was told by my adoptive parents that I have a sister who is approximately 12-16 months younger than I am. Not sure if this makes sense to anyone but I’ve had dreams about my sister being names Kalima (just a vague longing that I needed to name in this dreams). Also told that my biological mothers’ last name at the time of my birth was Lake or Like. She may have been born 12/31/1947. I put off searching for her and my sibling(maybe even siblings) for decades but every year I wonder if you’re still on this earth‚ what you look like and if you wonder about me too!! ♥️
