I was adopted May 1, 1970 by Tom & Linda Hyde. Dad seems to remember seeing the name Wilcox in the paperwork. I think someone was searching for me in the year ’88/’89 when I was in college at Western Wa University, Bellingham Wa. But I had forgotten that the first few weeks of my life I’d been called Wendy, and as a result, hung up on the person who was calling. I’ve regretted that ever since.
