I was told my birth mother’s name Debrah Adair or Debbie Adair. Was told she is from Texas. She is white and had blond hair, blue eyes, and was short (5’2 give or take) I was born in 1980. I’m mixed race (black and white?) My adopted vital birth certificate says University Hospital. As far as my birth father, I only know he was black. I was told I was 5 months old when adopted. If I do the math accordingly to my adopted birth certificate. I was only 3 months old. My birth mom was (supposedly drug user and hooker). Her and my father had left me as a baby at the Roseveltt Motel with a man to watch me. People from the hotel herd a baby crying and reported to the front desk. So I was picked up and took to the hospital. I was also told that when my mother gave birth to me that the doctor came in and told her I tested positive for heroine in my system. Then against doctors order her and my father discharged me and my mother before the state could take me. I guess my birth name was Alicia Marie, not sure of my last name. My adopted birth certificate says my birthday is February 21st 1980. My grandparents flew up from Texas to get me because my mother had to do jail time. I ended up getting adopted to my foster parents instead. I’m 38 now and has 3 little girls of my own. I just want some closure and to meet my birth family. Haven’t had much luck. Looks like my mom or dad aren’t looking for me.
