I am looking for a 60’ish man who was given up for adoption in Washington. He recently contacted someone from Starks, Louisiana and wrote a letter to Cheryl Martinez. He was apparently advised that his birth mother is Rebecca Ashworth Stanley. I believe this is incorrect. I was contacted and advised that his mother is Eileen Ashworth and that his father is my father (deceased), Norman Leon Gibson. The birth parents are both from Starks, Louisiana. The pregnant teen mother was supposedly sent away to Washington. I don’t even know yet if this is Washington state or D.C. He may be my 1/2 brother. All my immediate family (except my daughter) is deceased. He needs to know about our father, and if I have a sibling I need to know. They live in Washington. Still don’t know if that is D.C. or state.
