I’m in search of information of my birth mother. All I have is Shirley Ruth Johnson -born 1929 possibly Maryland She did not know of the adoption. I have not been with her since I was about 16 months or so. I am now 61. Even if I just find a picture - I want to know something about her. My birth father gained custody of me and then left me with a step mother . He died when I was just 12. My birth certificate was blacked out. I’ve always hit road blocks in trying to locate her. I pray constantly that maybe someday I can know something. I have been fortunate to find siblings on fathers side and now 1 brother and sister from mother’s side . But none of us know anything about mother .
