My biological mothers name is Shirley Jo Mooney born in December of 1952. She married a man in 1971 which changed her last name to Casselman. They divorced & she kept the last name of Casselman. My mother ended up with my biological father. My mother was 22 years old when I was born. My biological father’s presumed name is Richard Pierce. This is all the information I have on him. I got his name off my birth announcement & adoption paperwork I came across. I was born in Long Beach, California at Long Beach Community Hospital. It’s said that my biological mother died in March of 1977 in Long Beach California. I was 16 months old at the time of her death. I was adopted by my biological aunt & her husband and was moved to where they live in Washington State. My adoption took place & was finalized in Washington State in 1979. My biological aunt and her husband have told me very little about my biological mother or about what happened to her. They refuse to answer any questions. I have never talked to or met my biological father. I am assuming he knows of me because of his name being on the birth announcement but I am uncertain.
