My name is Robert James Wenman. I was born October 11, 1957, in Seattle Washington at Swedish Hospital. I was then cared for by Children’s home society of Washington. I was then adopted by Harold and Margaret Wenman from Tacoma Washington. I now have my original birth certificate that I petitioned the state of Washington for. The birth certificate shows my mother as Bette Mae Riggs, born in Taft California in 1933. I believe her family moved to Fresno California where she attended Fresno State College. I have fóund no record of her after 1963 . I did a DNA test and see I have a strong connection to a few people as 1st cousins with the name of Riggs, and another named Brown. I contacted the Brown connection and it appears my father name may be William Lawrence Brown from Brooklyn NY, 1933-1977. I’m hoping to do a DNA test with one of his children to confirm the connection. I contacted a link on my mothers side (Riggs) but have not heard back. Anxiously waiting to learn more. At this point I would be very happy to confirm my birth parents, family heritage, and information about family health history. I would also like to know if my birth mother is still alive. I do not want to intrude unwanted into other people’s private lives. Robert James Wenman
