I am looking for the birth family of my grandfather. He was born in late February of 1941, a newspaper clipping states he was a day old when he was adopted. He was born in a maternity home in Asotin Washington, at least that is what we have been told. His adopted parents lived in Pomeroy, WA. May have been in the Lewiston ID, Clarkston WA, or Asotin WA area as well. As far as we can tell, no official documentation was completed, and may have been within the family or close to the family. Trying to find out for him who his birth parents may have been and if there may be any other family out there.
