We adopted our son from foster care in 2001. He was 5 years old . We have contact two of his half sisters that are 2 and 5 years older than he is. He was born in 1995. He has at least two other half siblings that were born before 1990. The birth mother is Denise (Woods) Blanchard and father is Michael Paul Blanchard. We haf very distant contact with Ms. Blanchard and closer contact with Mr. Blanchard. All of the siblings were born in Seattle, WA, we believe. We know that one of the 6 that were born prior to our son, Matthew Paul Blanchard, is deceased. We also believe that one set of grandparents may have adopted one or more of the siblings. Matthew was born at Swedish Hospital.
