Hiya my uncle was born 22-10-1942‚ at the time of his birth my grandmother was a married but may i point out seperated woman. My uncles name is now patrick alfred schreiber‚ his mother was catherine bewick and father alfred schreiber. i am was told that on my grandmas forced reconcilliation with her husband that my uncle was given to his grandparents to rare and also his natural father. i believe there was quite a lot of commotion and my grandfather tried to have him stopped being adopted by his paternal grandparents.does anyone know where or how i can get hold of his original birth records. i believe he was born in durban/cape town and at time was only given an unabridged birth certificate which has campion bewick on it how do i get hold of original copy with proof of his mother my grandma or proof to his birth and later on adoption please help my uncle is 70 this year and i would love to sort this out for him. thankyou. kind regards. carol.
