My mother was born on 21st December 1926 in Smallbrook‚ Birmingham. Her birth certificate shows she was registered as Phyllis Cooper and her mother was Evelyn Maud Cooper‚ no father was given. She was adopted by William C and Winifred Winckworth‚ who were from Bath. I would like to trace my ’blood’ family - the Coopers‚ if possible - I presume I have cousins etc. although my grandparents would have passed away.
