Beryl Carter gave birth to Clive Martin Carter at 134 Heathfield Rd Birmingham hospital. She was forced to give him away due to the fact she had no way to support him. Her husband died‚ went overboard in 1958‚ they had two daughters. She had an affair in 1961 with Jack Murray a married man and not on the scene as he had a wife and children. She gave him her married name of Carter. He was two weeks old and he left the hospital with a Mr and Mrs Stanley‚ who were too old to adopt legally we believe. Beryl changed her mind a few weeks later however when she saw how much the couple loved him she left broken hearted without him. We don’t know if he was legally adopted. She went back sometime later but the couple had moved away‚ overseas maybe? She eventually went to Australia and looked for him afterwards with no luck. Sisters Linda And Christina looking for him now as Beryl passed away.
