I am searching for my half brother, Robert Sly, my mother was unmarried when she gave birth to him in the first quarter of 1952, which as you can understand, would have been unacceptable. My mother was Ada Sly, She married my father in September of that year, Robert’s father was unknown. I know he was born in Birmingham, which, at the time, was part of Warwickshire, not sure what area, I would love to find him. My mother has Alzhiema’s, and has probably long forgotten about Robert, I have not, from the day she told us about him, it was my ambition to find him, I would like to tell him about the mother he never knew, why she had him adopted, and introduce him to his brothers sisters. Families are so important, I have lost two relatives within a few months of each other, and it is so sad when that happens, finding Robert would be a dream come true and I hope you can help.
