My adoption was undertaken by‚ The Homeless Children’s Aid & Adoption Society & F B Meyer Children’s Home. At the time of my birth my mother was resident at the‚ Free Church Council Maternity Home. My birth was registered within the district of Bournemouth in October 1968. The adoption was formalised at Swansea County Court September 1968 following my family’s move there. My mother stayed at the home until approximately May 1968 & I believe I was collected by my new family ahead of planned holiday leave for the Matron & the Home’s adoption Officer‚ Miss J. W. Franklin. My birth Mother was a Nurse - SRN
