My Father was born in South Wales (Cardiff I believe) and adopted as a baby. My grandmother who had still born triplets adopted my dad and recalls selecting him from a room of cots with young babies and I am determined to find the circumstances surrounding his adoption. Was it one of these forced adoption scenarios? I feel that depending on the results of my search I think that if I was to share this info with him he would find it comforting. I think he has been to scared to find out the truth and didn't want to be 'disrespectable' to his adopted parents of whom he had a lovely upbringing with. He was born Michael Perkins but name changed following adoption.
