Hello I am looking for my father actually. I have met Fay who gave birth to me in 1960 whilst I still lived in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 In 1990. I know I have three half brothers Michael, Keith and Graham Sherman. I came as a shock to them because I was the secret no one ever spoke about. Of course to be pregnant in 1959 and unmarried was frowned upon and I can understand this. Whilst I have a connection to one of my half brothers on Facebook I have sensed a distancing in our connection. I am now 61 years old and time is moving on. I would like to know who fathered me. I guess I’m a secret on that side too. I will never know until I either contact my father (if still alive) or possibly meet his family in some way. We are now in the third millennium and attitudes have changed somewhat since 1960. I know live in Australia (moving here from New Zealand in 2014). I have children who ask questions and find it difficult to believe that I don’t know. Should any information come from this we can start slowly and possibly build from there. Hoping to finally find out where I come from. 😊
