My dad was born in Cardiff‚ Wales‚ in April 1944 - he was adopted from an orphanage a few years later and grew up happily in the North East of England. He was known as Michael John Wilkinson - we think he was called Michael at birth‚ but the rest of his name is the adopted family name. We understand his mother was unmarried but went on to have further children‚ though no firm confirmation of this. We would just love to know if there are family members from his line out there.
