My father Michael John Willians was born in Shrewsbury hospital on Nov 5 th 1944 His real father was killed in action in Second World War. I have managed to trace him/his family on Ancestry.com from my DNA however I am still trying to trace my father’s birth mother and any family of hers. I don’t know her name. My father was adopted straight after birth by Hugh and Margaret Williams in Welshpool. The birth mother wrote to my father til he was 8 but he didn’t believe he was adopted and didn’t want to know her. I would like to trace her and someone on my DNA connections suggested this as a way to find her.
