My grandmother Fonda G Butcher (Frame) (Born June 23 1944) was sent in the early 60’s to a Secretary school in Virginia from WV to give birth once she fell pregnant after being raped at a homecoming dance. We know she went to live with "Buddy" who now has dementia/Alzheimer’s and cannot give us any information. And her sisters don’t want to help. Fonda died in 2015 and confessed on her death bed to having had a girl to adoption. We know nothing other than maybe one of her parents was a doctor/lawyer and that she had named the baby girl Ladawna/Ladauna. My father wants a chance to meet his sister. And I want the shame, pain, and silence around this is be gone.
