I am looking for my grandmothers biological parents/family. My grandmother was placed in the VIRGINIA HOME FOR INFANTS, possibly at birth. Her biological name was MARGARET DAVIS , BORN SEPTEMBER 17, 1914 in RICHMOND, VIRGINIA. She was adopted JULY 31,1916 by Victor and Muriel Hartman-I have adoption paper. But I don’t have biological parents names. We’ve done DNA, still having a hard time. i would appreciate any info that can be found. My grandmother who’s name was changed to Dell Marjorie Hartman (then after Muriel divorced Victor, Dell took on Muriels new husband Henry Minckler from Winclock, Washington and Dell carried that name until she married (STRATTON) . My grandmother was suppose to give my mom all the info before she passed but dementia took over first and she destroy a lot of pictures and papers except for adoption paper.
