I am looking for my oldest son, he was born at DePaul Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia on January 7th or 8th in the late p.m. He weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz. at birth. I was 17 when i had him and had no choice but to give him up for adoption because i was living under my father’s roof and he didn’t want a baby there with me being underage. At the time his Biological father was in jail and it was hard to leave him at the hospital when i was released, it broke my heart. I have missed him all these years and have always thought about him, how he looked and how he was doing. I love him with all my being and being away from him for 35 years has been hard. He has 1 sister and 4 brothers and they would love to see him. He also has nieces and nephews as well. If anyone has any information regarding this please get in touch with me. At his time of birth my name was Catrina Flowers and his father’s name was Benjamin Lee Powers. A church in Newport News, Va. did the adoption but the adoption was handled through the Virginia Baptist Children’s Home in Salem, Va. I was living there when i met his father and we dated and i got pregnant with him. I just want to find my son and reunite with him. Also to let him know that i have been searching for him for years and i will not quit looking.
