I was adopted through catholic charities in Arlington‚ Virginia in May 1959. I believe my birth mother may have been of Italian/ Portuguese decent‚ possibly with the surname Romeo (not confirmed)‚ and I believe my Father could have been of Canadian/French decent possibly with the last name Heroux (also not confirmed). Don’t know for sure but I believe my mother may have been in her late 20’s or early 30’s at the time I was born and given up for adoption. I don’t believe my parents were married and based on research i’ve done it’s possible that my father was in the army or military around the time I was born. The names of my adopted parents are William (Bill) Heath and Irene Heath. I believe that my given name at birth was either Stephen or Steven - my current name as given by my adopted parents is Joseph Heath.
