Looking on behalf of my sister. She was born in Winchester VA on October 9‚ 1972. She was immediately placed in foster care and my parents picked her up from the Leesburg‚ VA court house when she was approximately 3 months old. Her birth parents were teenagers and the birth mother wrote a letter many years ago and had it placed in my sister’s file. When my sister started her first journey to find her birth parents approximately 20 years ago‚ she came across this letter that was given to her by a case manager. The letter basically stated that she did not want any contact with her and basically wanted to forget the whole thing happened. Needless to say‚ my sister has been reluctant to try again ever since. I would like to be able to find out any information if possible regarding her birth father or possible siblings. Please help!
