Im searching for my birth family for my mother who was adopted in virginia around the Norfolk area in 1968. Her birthday is May 17 1968. Her birth name was maureen, adopted name is shellee. She was adopted at 6 weeks old by her adopted mother sharon and I believe her husband at the times names was steve Hagen? The story that has been told by my adopted grandmother is that my moms bio mother was married to a man in the military and was away, she had an "affair" got pregnant and was forced to give up my mother. We have also been told that she had two older half sisters that may have been twins that were red heads. I am just putting what I have been told some or all info about my bio family may or may not be true.
