Hi, I am looking for my niece. I believe her name now might be Colleen (I am not sure what it was at birth). Your parents were teenagers in suburban New Jersey in the early 90’s or late 80’s. Your birth father’s name is Kevin Tracy, my brother. He did not know about you until many years later (I believe after you graduated from college). I think you may have had contact with your birth mother throughout the years. You may have been raised in Virginia or gone to school there. I do not know who your birth mother was. You contacted my brother several years ago. He feels very guilty about everything, that he wasn’t there for your birth mother or for you. He handled your conversations poorly. He will give us very little information. So I do not know who your birth mother was, but I have a couple of educated guesses. I think back to those days and we were all very young. And I think about how hard this must of been on her. I wish we had known about you, but respect all of the very difficult decisions made. I hope that you have had a good life and that you were well loved and protected. I think about you often though, and would love to know you. My Mother is almost 80 and she is amazing. And I just think about how when she goes (she’s healthier than anyone I know right now), so much history will go with her. I know she would love to know you. And maybe, we can fill in some gaps for you about your lineage. I know you already have a family and a life and will respect any and all boundaries you have.
