I am in search of my 18-year-old son who was taken after birth. I was just 16 at the time of his birth. His name at birth was Nicholas Lee Gibson born July 19‚ 2007‚ at the Carilion Rockbridge community hospital in Lexington Virginia. My mother had signed the paperwork for him to be taken and I haven’t seen him since. A year after his birth‚ I was called by one of the so-called ladies who had him placed in foster care who told me my son was shot and killed at his first birthday party‚ that I was not allowed to attend the funeral per the request of the foster family as they felt it would be detrimental to my mental health as I was only 17 by this time. I need to know if that call was real. I can’t go the rest of my life not knowing if what I experienced was real.
