In Martinsville Virginia‚ on August 31‚ 1958 I was adopted by Reverend Robert Hall Martin and his wife‚ teacher‚ Patricia King Martin. (Patricia was born Patsy Ann King but changed her name.) I was told my birth mother was very young and was not allowed to keep me. My adopted parents are the names on my birth certificate and it was a closed adoption so I have never known a name‚ saw a picture or had any information on my birth family.
