I’ve been looking for my sister for years but had zero information to go on‚ she somehow found my uncle(mother’s brother) and contacted him saying she is his half sister. She was obviously wrong there but that’s how he then notified my mom. He wasn’t aware of her and my mother has never looked nor mentioned anything. So now she’s in contact with people who literally don’t care but I do know her name and contact information now. So I just want to contact her but don’t know the etiquette. Was hoping to read others experiences. Oddly enough we’ve already had a long lost brother(for my mom and uncles)from another country! But he lived with his mother and wasn’t put up for adoption. Maybe she used dna I was about to submit one because I was hoping to match. She was born in Alexandria Virginia‚ I think in 1972. As a Barnhart maybe? Think she was adopted by a couple with the last name Serra
