I was born in February 1977 in Buchannan‚ Virginia. I was born at home with no medical assistance. I was given to my b-mom’s friends when I was 2 days old. They tried to adopt me when I was 1‚ but no one in the state knew I existed‚ since I was born at home instead of a hospital. I was put into the system‚ and in 1979‚ I was adopted in Covington‚ VA area. I don’t have much information on my b-parents. My mother was 37 when she had me‚ was 5’7‚ and would not name my father. The name I was given was Mary Elizabeth Helms.
