September 10‚ 1980‚ a friend of mine had to give up her first son born at rockingham memorial hospital in Harrisonburg Virginia. He was adopted to a couple who were unable to have children‚ it’s believed that one parent was a nurse the other a podiatrist (foot and ankle doctor). His mother had yearned for him since she had him‚ she was also adopted and in the us army when she conceived him. The family is still in the Rockingham County areas.
