My father was the adopted child. His adoptive parents names were Ethel and Wilbur Frank. At the time of adoption they were living in the Valley (it’s what we call the area) in one of three possible towns Harrisonburg‚ VA‚ Dayton‚VA‚ or Bridgewater‚VA. They named my father William David Frank. My father passed away when he was 32 from complications from lung cancer. The story I was told was the birth mother had to many children 12+ and that my father was adopted at birth. July 7th 1962. I was told there were other children adopted out as well. I’m not sure which hospital he was born in.
