When I was adopted my brother was also adopted‚ he was 4 years old and from Idaho. He was removed from his parents home because off abuse. We were both flown to St Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands to our adoptive parents. I was 2 months old. The adoption was done thru the Catholic Charities in Spokane‚ WA. When I was 18 I did call Catholic Charities and spoke to the man that actually flew with my brother and me to St. Croix. He told me that my mother actually ended up working there for several years after my birth. However it was a closed adoption so I got no information.
